The conference will be held at Bäckaskog castle, situated in the north-eastern part of Scania in southern Sweden. The castle dates back to the 13th century when it was used as a monastery, and in the 1800s King Karl XV transformed it into his favourite country retreat. Situated in a quiet but inspiring surrounding it is a perfect place for a scientific gathering. There will be a range of accommodation available, from suites in the castle to simpler lodging in the castle gardens. The castle is renowned for its excellent cuisine and we will dine either within the castle itself, or outside in the garden. You will have to register before March 15 2008 if you wish to attend the conference. The number of attendants are limited as are the rooms, so we urge you to register as soon as possible. |
